Service was ok. They were nice but this one waitress... She doesn't know how to count or something... Normally when you pay, they will ask if we need change and then take our payment to the cashier and count or whatever. This waitress was checking to see if everyone paid what we were supposed to. My friend had to explain to her 3 times about it. Like how hard is it? One is $13 something, one is $14 something. That's around $27. There were 2 $5 bills and one $20. Isn't that enough already? Why was she still questioning my friend if she only paid $13? I thought that was ridiculous. Yes, I'm not a think fast person, sometimes it's hard to do math quickly but it wasn't that hard was it? I guess kids nowadays use too much calculator and not their brain to calculate?
Anyways, I ordered the rice cake waffle ($7), my friends ordered the stir fried marinated beef with mushroom and veggie ($13), the stir-fried squid and pork belly udon ($14) and seafood tofu soup ($11).
Yes, dessert for dinner, typical Cincin. I was suppose to have dessert before, during and after dinner, didn't get any before dinner so I was unhappy. I've always wanted to try rice cake waffle, even when I was in Korea but I didn't have time. Finally get to try. It wasn't as clear as I thought it would be (I've seen almost see through rice cake waffle before). There were sliced almond and syrup on top. It had a crunchish outside, a chewy inside and it sticks to my teeth. Taste wise, it was just ok. It wasn't that sweet, kind of plain in a way. There were sweetness from the syrup and maybe the bean powder? I thought the rice cake waffle would look better on a black plate. I think the waffle would stand out more.
The tofu soup, my friend can't eat spicy so the soup had no colour.
Overall, I think their food are just ok. I won't go back, I tried what I had to try and that waitress "wow" me a bit.
