Makeover?

I went out with friends and they wanted to do a makeover on this friend. I was thinking why does she need one? They really want to change her... I think she looks fine the way she is now.

Why do people want to change someone? Is it because they look the same year after year? Why do people have to change their look as they age?

To me, I think everyone is unique in their own way. They have their own taste, style and looks. I don't think there is anything wrong with that, is there?

Usually when people do a makeover, it's usually what people like them to look like, not what they want to look like. Yes, dress them up like super models. Yes, doll them up until they are unrecognizable and unrecognizable when they have little to no makeup on... I just prefer things more natural.

Plus, I think the way someone dress/look can show what kind of person they are (personality/others). So don't be someone you are not.

I've watched makeover shows before, a lot of the times, the person that is getting their look changed isn't really what they like. And the host says "well, you want a change so you should try and accept a different look. These professional spent a lot of time thinking about it". I was like... It's true they spent a lot of time on it but if the person isn't comfortable with it, don't force them. Some of the makeovers made them look completely different, it's like another person. Some of them I think it's an awful makeover (it didn't look good on them)... They just changed the person into what they think is "pretty", not what that person thinks is pretty.

My friend was saying "Why me? Why not Cin?". I don't want a makeover because I think I look fine the way I am. If people think I'm cute like this I think I would want to stick with this look. Yes, I look pretty much the same as when I was a little kid. I prefer cute more than mature or something else. I am cute, I can't go onto the sexy route. I mean I don't mind trying different looks to make myself look even cuter or better. I am who I am. Like me or hate me. =)

I will keep my bangs forever, it's my "icon".

Does big eyes and double eyelids really matter? Who doesn't want big eyes but after a few years no matter how big your eyes are, they won't look very pretty anyways. I think kind looking eyes are more important than BIG eyes. Sometimes people should accept the features that they were born with. That's what makes us all unique. Am I wrong?

I normally don't use eye makeup because my eyes get super oily. The eyeliner/mascara will just smudge and make panda eyes for me. Not that I don't want to but I rather look normal than to have panda eyes. =( I do put eye makeup on during my Sunday shifts. Another reason is because it's an extra step in my morning routine. I rather spend a few more minutes in bed.

I may not look pretty but I'm confident with what I'm born with. I won't look pretty in order to please people. If they don't like how I look, just don't look at me. =) Or they can just poke their own eyes out. =P

It's not a bad idea to make changes as long as you are comfortable and happy with it. Remember to listen to yourself and do what you like not what they like.

Random moment, I don't understand why he had to give up on her (MV) even though she seems to like him. Just because he isn't confident in his looks and other stuff... I guess I know how he feels. Before I would think why would that person be interested in me? I wasn't dressed pretty or anything, what caught his attention? He can probably find someone better than me... I thought it was just unreal, and it is unreal...
