We went there around 4 ish and it was packed. Had to wait a little bit to be seated. It's not that big in there, I believe they will expand someday. The service was ok. Not sure if we were sitting in the corner and we can't be seen but no-one came to take our dishes away and my friend had to move them herself. I thought the wait for our food was kind of long to me. Maybe because I wasn't feeling well/happy and not talking so it felt like the time was going by hell slow?
We ordered 3 appetizers, sweet chili cauliflower ($9.75), hot chiggin' things ($9.75), and not-cho average nacho fries ($10.75). I didn't try any because I didn't feel like eating so I can't comment on them but I heard it's really good. To me, I thought the first 2 items were pretty expensive for the size. They ordered drinks too but don't remember what they were. The Caesar looked pretty cute.
Then we ordered our mains, I got the BC poutine ($11.50), friends got the meet burger ($13.75), the double double ($14.50) and butter chikkin ($13.75). I thought they all looked really good. I liked my BC poutine, the size was not bad. It had a curry taste to it. The little veggie bites gave it a nice texture. The fries were ok crispy. I believe those white cheese like stuff are tofu but it does have that cheese smell to it. I also saw beancurd looking things in it, I think those were the chikkin. The poutine had enough flavour, very good.
