Home Delicacy Noodle Review

A friend told me about this place but we never went. I was running out of ideas on where to eat so I decided to try this place without that friend. I think she forgot about it anyways.

When we got in, there were few tables with people then it got busier then it's like dead around 8pm. The service was good, nothing bad.

One part of the noodle menu was in Chinese, good thing I know most of the words.

I ordered the 2 different type of noodle in 1 bowl, one noodle was Tian Jin something noodle and the other one was the pork hock noodle ($12.95). My friend ordered the same type of noodle bowl as me, dumplings ($14.75), boil/pan fried dish ($2.85/100g) and beef and tendon noodle ($9.50).

Out of my 2 noodles I liked the pork hock more. I like pork hock, don't know why, I love the vinegar one where you eat after you have a child. Their pork hock (3 pieces) was well marinated compared to other places that I have been to. It was very soft and easy to eat too. The round noodle was good, nice texture. The Tian Jin noodle wasn't bad either. It had a different type of noodle, it was flat noodle. I believe it's because there is no soup and the sauce would stick better on flat noodle. I don't know how to describe the taste of the sauce but it wasn't really my thing. There were shredded bean curd or something and slices of pork blood. The size of the noodle was ok size, I was pretty full after it. I like their bowl.

The boil/pan fried dish, you can pick and choose what food you want to eat. They charge by weight. I thought that was interesting, you normally do that at candy stores/ seafood restaurants. I tried a bean curd from that dish, I thought it was really good. It was nicely flavoured with a little kick to it. I'm sure the rest were good too.

Thank you for treating us my friend!

Overall I think the restaurant was pretty good. My friends liked it too. I would come back again, they still have a lot of different types of noodle and food on their menu. I'm surprised I don't see any review or menus online for this restaurant. I couldn't find anything online before coming to the restaurant, only on Google, none of the food review websites.
