Taco Del Mar Review

I know this place has been here forever but I've never went in to try. Finally decided to go and try before class. It was very Mexican feels I guess. There weren't much people there, pretty empty. Well, that mall has tons of parking space and it's super empty there. They have daily specials everyday of the week. It's the Subway type of style.

I got the burrito ($) with tomatoe tortilla, brown beans, lettuce, cucumber, rice, and some kind of mild spicy sauce and chicken. I forgot to type the review earlier so I kind of forgot what was in it. When it was done, I thought the burrito was huge, I'll be full for sure. I thought it was dry and lacking in flavour, maybe because I didn't get guacamole? I wasn't sure if I had to add more money for it so I didn't get it but she did ask me in the beginning. There were a lot of rice in it and I'm not a fan of rice, it was very filling. The rice kept dropping. I couldn't finish the whole thing so I took the rest home. The rest taste so much better with ketchup.

Overall, I think it's not bad for the price. I do wish they give out salsa for free like this other really good taco place (Taco Luis). That other one is by far the best although it's a bit expensive.

If you want a quiet place to study or work on something, this place is not bad but I went around 4-5pm, maybe it's a quiet time?

I would come back, it's not bad but I might take out next time.
