Mister isn't a very big place, they only had 4 chairs by the window. It's Yaletown so don't sit inside and eat. There are tons of chairs outside the restaurants on Mainland Street or walk toward the water and sit by the water. I like how they have these flat silver plates thingy on the wall, I believe the purpose of them is for people to put their ice cream there and take pictures? At least that's what I did. There were a few nitrogen tanks and blenders inside, feels like I was in a science lab.
Anyways, I ordered the thai milk tea ($6, if you know me I love tea). It was shaped interestingly. The colour wasn't as dark as the thai rolled ice cream I had at another ice cream place. It didn't have a strong tea flavour like the other one but I was ok with that. It was ok creamy, I felt that creaminess inside my mouth.
My friend ordered the crème brulee ($7 something?), it did look like one. I didn't try but my friend said it taste like vanilla ice cream and she had to crack the caramelized sugar like an actual crème brulee. They did torch the top infront of us.
I think I would come back again. I saw online, they had pineapple bun sandwich. I wanted to try but I didn't see it. I thought that was cool. Maybe I'll make that myself at home. =) I also want to their their black ice cream with black cone.
Look at all those nitrogen tanks, will they explode? Not a great picture. |
