Big G Review

My friend wanted to try Big G so we went. It's a small place, not too much people when we got there. Like always, people start coming in after we are in there. They sell mainly fried chicken but they do have other fried items like mushrooms and squid balls. They also have bubble tea. I thought the cashier was pretty nice, just the way she talked and smile. My friend thought the wait for the chicken was a tiny bit long. I guess that is because they only fried the food when it's being ordered?

My friend ordered the "make it a combo", large fried chicken, fried squid ball, and a drink. I ordered the chicken bites ($6.99). I forgot how much my friend's combo was but I think it was $20 something. That is one pricey combo... I believe they are well known for their large fried chicken which was one and a half size of my hand. My friend thought it didn't have much taste, it would have no flavour without the seasoning. Oh, you get to choose 2 seasonings for the fried chicken only. I tried to rip a bit of the large chicken to try but I could only get the batter... The batter was ok, not super crunchy, not much taste. The chicken looked juicy but not too sure, didn't get to try. My friend liked the squid balls, I was just ok with it. My chicken bite was ok, had a little kick to it, I added salt + pepper and spicy powder as seasoning. It also came with a sweet and chili sauce, not sure if that was for the squid ball or which but I used it for almost everything...

To me, everything was just ok. Nothing too special. Just fried chicken with seasoning... Nope, I won't be going back. I'll try the ones in Taiwan someday.
