I found Kurumucho when I was researching online. It's a Japanese Mexican type of restaurant. It's not very big. I've been to this place when it used to be Shizenya, this is a restaurant that is part of Shizenya. They moved it to few stores up, it's much bigger and busier. I think I'll go try Shizenya again next time.
Anyways, it wasn't too busy when we got there, like one table with people and one person getting take out. The service was really good. The lady was very nice and she kept pouring water for us because we were super thirsty when we got there.
We both ordered the chicken breast karaage "zangi" burrito ($9.95). I wanted taco but then from what she told me about the size, I thought it seem small for the price. When the burrito came, it looks fat in size but not that big.
The burrito was good but I wish there were more quinoa + rice and chicken then veggie. The veggie part had no taste at all and it's a big part of the burrito. They gave us salsa but I don't think it was enough. Maybe they should have added the salsa sauce into the veggie, it would taste so much better. The chicken were cut into small pieces. I think there were only 4 pieces in there? I likes the quinoa/rice part. It had a nice flavour. That part with the chicken was probably the most tasty part of all. I'm just not really a veggie person, I know it's bad.
I would come back again, maybe to try their tacos. They have happy hour from 3-5pm. They close quite early, like 6pm.
They used to have the matcha crème brulee as a dessert but not anymore. I wish they did, I would totally order it.
Oh, if you need the washroom, you need to get a key from them and walk through a tiny hall.
