Teawood (茶木) Review

My cousin took me here, a tiny Taiwanese restaurant located in Langham mall in Mong Kwok. Thanks for the treat!

I didn't really feel like eating so I ordered the matcha red bean toast ($90 hkd) and cousin ordered the rice with fried chicken and marinated minced pork ($65).

The toast was really pretty. The toast was very crunchy and a bit hard to cut into. It came with this saw utensil, I was sawing the toast lol.

It didn't have much taste, I wish they had more syrup or red bean. I had to put cream, red bean and ice cream on each piece. I usually don't like toast because it scratches the inside of my mouth every time.

The chicken rice was really good. I like that marinated mince pork, well flavoured. the chicken was crispy.

I guess I would come back but too much good food to try in HK.
