Hop Yik Tai (合益泰小食) Review

This is one of my favourite place to eat. They are known for their "cheung fun". I came here last year and had it 2 times. Their price went up by $1 this year. It used to be $7 for 4 cheung fun. Now it's $8 hkd for 4.

I believe they did a renovation, it looked different from last year, no clue. This place always has a line up, doesn't matter what time of the day. It's pretty crazy. I believe they also sell congee and other stuff.

This time I got take out because I don't want to eat alone there and I want grandma to eat it too. I'm not sure how to read their new menu sign so I just said however much I want. I took out some money and the lady asked you want 2 sets? I'm like no 1 and she gave me back some of the money. I was so clueless, oh well, they know more than I do. I think she charged me $16?

Their cheung fun are very soft and smooth and has enough flavour with the sauce. It's just a lovely snack to have. It's also pretty good for the price, ok big for one person. Grandma ate most of it which I don't mind. =) As long as she likes it.
