Kitchen Omiya Review

I wanted to try egg rice but I couldn't find the one I wanted to try. When we were walking around looking for dinner we found this place.

It would be nice if they had English on their menu but I understand it's Japan.

Not sure what I ordered because I don't know Japanese but it was $990 yen.

The presentation was really pretty. It wasn't like the traditional egg rice. I did want the traditional one though, oh well, next tme.

At first, I was so excited to try but when I tasted the sauce...sorry but I didn't like it. I don't know how to describe the taste but it wasn't what I expected, it wasn't good. The rice was ok, nothing too special. The egg was not bad. I feel like they put the egg into a shaped mould lol. Or how else did they make it into that shape. I'm not a mushroom person so don't like the mushroom but it was ok.

I should have ordered the curry one instead.

Will I come back again...nope, it wasn't my thing, sorry.
