My Cupnoodle Factory

I know they have one inside HK airport but I have no clue where it's located and you have to sign up for it so I decided to go to the Japan one. I mean come on, why not go to the original one when I'm near there.

It's located at Ikeda, a short walk from the Ikeda station. It's free of charge but if you want to make your own cup noodle you have to pay $300 yen. Totally worth it when you are there already. There is also another charge for making noodle I think, not too sure.

The cup noodle timeline was really pretty.

There were different things on the wall that talked about history of cup noodle.

Then you get into this big room filled with people decorating their own cup noodle.

First a lady will explain the process to you, you buy a cup from a vending machine, then you sanitize your hands. This lady will put a lid on your cup and tell you to pick a place to sit. Then you can start drawing whatever you want on the cup.

After you are done, you go and get your noodle, add ons in, get it sealed, and wrapped. You have the option to put it in a vacuum bag or not. I did since I'm not planning to eat it anyways.

I think it was a good experience but I was having trouble with what to put onto the cup. When I was lining up to get my noodle inside the cup, I looked at other people's, I see people drawing that little chick on it. They had ingredients drawn or written on it. I'm like... I have none of those on... Am I suppose to have that stuff on there???

No, you can draw whatever you want, don't have to do what other people do. You have your own thoughts and ideas.

I would come again but I would make it and eat it. =)
