We ordered the pork hock ramen noodle ($12.50), spicy chicken nuggets rice ($12.50) and the beef slices in Chinese pancake ($8.35).
The pork hock noodle was just soso to me. I thought the ramen noodle was over cooked and the soup didn’t taste good at all. It wasn’t normal beef noodle soup taste, I’m not sure how to describe it. The pork hock were not bad, well flavoured. I’m not sure what they marinated it in but it was all black. It had a slight tangy taste and had a really smelly breath after eating it. The pork hocks were ok soft, not that hard to chew. The size was not bad.
I tried a few of the spicy chicken nuggets and I thought they were not bad, specially when it first came to the table. It had a crispy flavoured outside and a soft juicy texture inside. It was comparable to the food court on in Aberdeen. Food court is still cheaper though. It wasn’t spicy to me though.
Not sure what the pancake one taste like but I guess it was good if my friend didn’t complain about it.
Overall, it was ok but don’t think I would come again. Maybe bring boyfriend to try their chicken nuggets?
