When my friend and I passed by this place there would be a line up outside so we decided to come and try this place out. We were there early so there weren't any line up.
It's not a very big place and I felt like our table was super close to the table beside us. I felt like I was in HK. I didn't feel too comfortable talking to my friend but we still did. The service was ok, nothing special.
I got the miso ramen ($10.95) with thin firm noodle, standard thickness, standard richness and a little spicy.
The ramen texture was ok and chewy. The soup wasn't too salty and had a tiny kick to it, I wonder what rich would taste like and I think it can be a bit more spicy. The chasiu was just right. Not too salty or no flavour. My other friend asked if I thought it was too lean. I thought it was ok but I don't mind if it was fatter. I love fat meat!
I think it was just alright, nothing too special to me. Makes me wonder why there is always a line up... I've tried better ramen than that. I thought it's a bit pricey for a ramen like that, at least put an egg in.
