Sushi Maro Review

Walked pass here before with a friend and decided to come try after looking at some cool rolls online. We both thought the restaurant is different on the outside and inside. The outside looks kinda high end, really pretty. When we entered, it felt like a regular sushi restaurants and there was this weird blue lighting on the wall.

The service was ok, one of the lady was quite loud. We actually waited quite long for our sushi. The people that came after us got their sushi already...

Anywho, we got the hot girl roll ($12.99), round house roll ($14.99) and the salmon lover roll ($13.99).

The hot girl roll wasn't that spicy to me and I could really taste the miracle or mayo at the end.

The round house, it had a strong tempura shrimp taste to it, not too much eel taste. Friend said they didn't use the regular unagi sauce, I'm not sure.

The salmon lover, We both really like the top part because it had a nice taste to it but the bottom part didn't have any flavour. They should make it spicy or something. I had to dip soy sauce for it.

Overall, not bad. Normal special roll price and regular small size as other places. I would come again to try their other rolls. I would try the flamingo one, I was looking at it, I feel like it would have more flavour.
