I was walking around the outlet and saw them opened again so decided to go try. They renovated the place and looks somewhat Mexican. Not sure what it was like before, first time in here. The people were very nice there. The girl was wiping the table that I stood by and apologized a few times.
I ordered 2 churros because 1 was $4 so might as well get 2 for $6. Turns out they have a buy 1 get 1 promo now between 4-6pm. I actually asked the guy, just making sure he heard that I wanted 2 and not 1.
The wait wasn't that long, few minutes, they give you a number sign and they will bring it out to you which I thought was kind of good.
The churros were pretty long. It was warm to hot when he handed it to me but not burning where you can't hold it. Great for winter time. I walked back to my car to eat it. It was still crispy.
To me, the taste was soso. A little bit plain. There was the sugar and cinnamon taste, that's pretty much it. There was also a strong baking soda taste to it, I guess from the batter? I think it would be better with ice cream but I didn't want to spend $8.50 on it. The sugar keeps falling off so it may make a mess.
Tried it with ice cream at home and it tasted so much better. Dad liked it alone.
Overall, it was ok, don't think I would try again. It's considered on the pricey side but great time to try right now with the buy 1 get 1 deal.
